We are delighted to welcome new people at any time of year, but for those of you who are new to the area, or visiting friends or family, here is some information about our special Christmas services. Celebrating the birth of Jesus, the season of Christmas covers not just Christmas Day but the weeks ahead.
Sunday 18th December, 6pm Carol Service
Here there are carols from a variety of sources, together with several popular ones to sing yourself. In between the music, the readings illustrate the theme "The King and his Kingdom" Collection in aid of Embrace the Middle East. (Not suitable for very young children)
Saturday 24th December, 4pm Christingle
If you are a young family, then we have something for you, too. On Christmas Eve in the late afternoon is an informal service with children in mind. It is based on the Moravian idea of Christingle - a decorated orange with a lighted candle, symbolising Christ, the Light of the world. Collection in aid of Embrace the Middle East.
