Services

All our regular service times are listed below. These services run all year round, with occasional changes during special events such as Christmas and Holy Week. Special services for these and other times will generally be advised a few weeks beforehand.

See the list on the right for special services, including Baptisms, Weddings and Funerals.

We understand that it can be a little daunting coming to church for the first time, or after a long while, so see also our Eucharist Explained and Useful Christian Terms sections which may be of help.

But remember, there will always be people at St. Barts to greet and help you with any questions you may have.

Sunday Services

Holy Communion at 8am: Order 2 - traditional style, 40 mins

Parish Eucharist at 10am: Common Worship service, 1 hr 15 mins, with creche, children's church and coffee afterwards.

Weekday Services

We have a pattern of regular worship every day and we welcome you to drop in to these short services if you have the opportunity. They consist of readings and prayer, (no Eucharist, no singing required). Morning and Evening services follow the pattern of the Daily Offices in the Church of England's Common Worship, and Bible readings follow the lectionary.

There is a midweek Eucharist on Wednesday mornings. Most weeks there is another at Thursday lunchtime; occasionally this is moved to celebrate before a PCC meeting, so please check before travelling specially.
