NB: The unrestored clock mechanism will be on display, offering a unique chance to see this wonderful and rare piece of pre-Victorian engineering.
The church will also host an exhibition of time-related work from St. Bartholomew's Primary School, along with an exhibition related to the restoration work and the history of St. Bartholomew's Church.
Saturday 29 June: The Queen's Six Gala Concert
Based at Windsor Castle the Queen's Six sing a wonderful variety of songs in this Gala evening. Prosecco & canapes before with supper afterwards.
Thursday 4 July: The Vulliamy Clock - a talk by Keith Scobie-Wickes
Keith Scobie-Wickes is one of the country's foremost experts on clocks such as ours, and will be actively involved in its restoration. Cheese and wine.
Saturday 6 July: The South London Jazz Orchestra
Back by popular demand, they are big, sometimes loud and always exciting! Supper included. Pay bar.
Sunday 7 July: Time for Art
An afternoon of demonstrations and workshops allowing easy and fun access to arts and crafts for anyone.
Followed by an early evening talk by the Rev Charles Pickstone on Time in Art. Charles Pickstone is an art historian who has talked to us before. Informative, fascinating and funny, he opens up new worlds to the uninitiated and informed. Not to be missed. Snacks and pay bar.
