We hope to be able to offer a number of ways to study through this website. See our links to the right for a guide to help you understand the Eucharist, an explanation of the Christian seasons and some useful Christian terms. Do let us know if there is any area you would be interesting in us including.

We will also have a growing section on Heritage and History which will include information helpful to those studying family and local history.

Teen Sense

Our vicar, the Rev Michael Kingston, has just published a great new collection of prayers for teenagers. Directly rooted in his experience of his own children's teenage years and the teenagers in the church congregation, these cover all sorts of topics that teenagers encounter: Me, My Family, My School, My Church, Discover, Moral Issues etc, all easily accessible via Kindle. Called, Teen Sense Prayers about Everything - from a teenage point of view, it is currently available on Kindle at 2.07.

Father Michael writes; "I am very excited that these original prayers, all "road-tested" on my own children, can be used more widely. they're not too churchy and really enable teenagers who are growing in faith to seek after answers to their many questions. We cover relationships, mobile phones, global challenges, how to interpret the bible, all freshly written to lead to a dialogue with God."

Bible Study

These are run on an ad-hoc basis on weekday evenings, usually Tuesdays from 8-9.30pm in meeting rooms at the church.

People are most welcome whatever their level of knowledge and experience and you can come along to items which interest you without having to follow any set course. This group is co-ordinated by Hazel Carcas.

We have a varied programme, sometimes concentrating on an in-depth review of a book of the bible over several weeks, at other times working through a devotional or theological text.

There might be talks by members of the congregation or visiting speakers with knowledge in related areas.

Watch for news of the next programme.
